My name is Robert Cataldo and I live in sunny Southern California just north of San Diego with my wife Mary and our son Phillip still in high school. Our daughter Rebecca graduated from UCLA and currently lives in Hollywood studying for her Masters Degree in Accounting. Oh yes, we have a Himalayan cat called Princess, aptly named because of her "cat-titude."

About Us

Mary and I met during high school at Ankara, Turkey in 1971 and have enjoyed traveling the world together ever since. Wherever we traveled we saw the same thing: if the wealth is in the hands of a few, the people are ruled by oppression and their only hope is surviving until tomorrow. Our Passion and Cause is to teach as many people as we can the concepts of financial success so that the bright light of freedom in America continues to be fueled by the people, for the people and of the people for generations to come. The strength of America is not in our military but in the millions of people who have tasted freedom and discovered the blessings of opportunity. This belief led us to develop the FasTRaX Business System.

Robert Cataldo, Engineer and Corporate Manager

After I graduated college I joined the Marine Corps and became a Marine Officer. Those four years provided me with invaluable training and an MBA but personal drive led me to the world of business. I became an assembly line supervisor and soon discovered corporate politics returning to school for a BS in Engineering. Combining my leadership skills, supervision background and engineering degree I became a successful Engineering Manager for a large corporation where I solved problems during the day and taught engineering students at night. When the recession of the 1980’s spilled into the 1990’s I discovered that it was not “if” you get laid off, but when. The next few years were spent working at many different companies supporting engineering and suppliers to compete at the World Class level. My last position was helping the turn-around of a major computer manufacturer as their Inventory Control Manager. I bring to this business an expertise in World Class competition in the Global Economy, an understanding of corporate business top to bottom, problem solving skills and the vision to understand that this knowledge can be applied to small business helping generate personal financial success. That vision helped us solve our initial problem in small business: “What do we do now?” by creating the FasTRaX Business System.

Mary Cataldo, Attorney

Mary graduated college with a teaching degree. Upon our arrival in Southern California she discovered that there were only 3 job openings, and 5,000 applicants. It was here we learned one of our most important life lessons: that if things are not what you want, only you can take the initiative to change them. Mary set out for secretarial school, and went to work in a law office. In a few short years, with periodic time outs for the birth of our children, she attended paralegal school and worked to the top becoming the office administrator. She went on to law school, obtaining her Juris Doctorate in 1994. She practices as a commercial litigator for a major firm in San Diego and teaches Law in the evening to aspiring paralegal and attorney students. Mary brings her legal expertise, her talent for the written word, and her enthusiasm to the FasTRaX System. Although she won’t take credit, much of what you see in FasTRaX has her imprint.

Insights to Success (our financial success)

Early in our careers Mary and I discovered 3 key insights that opened our eyes to financial success: 1. We could not make ends meet with our jobs alone. 2. A small business was key to building success, and 3. We could not build wealth without investing. As a result we have been building small home based businesses and investing in real property and passive income assets for the last 20 years. We have used the small, home-based business concept because of the increased financial opportunities it has provided. We have seen our personal net worth change from a negative (huge credit card debt) to a positive and laid the foundation for what I call “economy proof” wealth.

Our Strategy for financial success

Our business strategy did not make us rich quick. Rather, we decided what we really wanted in our lives and began taking steps toward that goal. We formed our small businesses with the end goal of investing our profits into positive income properties. Those properties have provided both cash flow and equity. The journey we chose has not always been easy, but it has always proven to be worth it.
