Plan Maintenance (PDF
Download)
By Palo
Alto Software, Inc. A business plan is not a one-time
document, at least it shouldn't be. Most businesses put together
a business plan during their start-up phase to organize, attract
partners and employees, and to try and get a loan or financial investment.
This is a great use of a business plan, however far too often once
the company has started up the plan isn't touched again.

Comparing
XP, MacOS X, and UNIX KDE and UNIX Gnome
By Eugenia Loli-Queru. OSNews website
3/17/2003. And the controversy rages on: which operating
system is better: Mac, Windows or UNIX? The answer is: the one that
solves your problem. Most people start by asking the wrong question:
what hardware shall I purchase? The first question should be: what
software will solve my problem? Then you will know what hardware
and operating system should be used. The author does a good job
comparing the three operating systems from a practical usage point
of view, not the theoretical argument that is usually waged. Read
the article and find out what OS gets the high score for overall
usability.

Should
I Choose a Celeron or a Pentium Computer?
By Patrick Schmidt. Tom’s Hardware
website 9/3/2002. The original Celeron CPU was designed as
a low-end competition to the AMD Duron CPU and was significantly
different than the original Pentium. It is interesting how some
stories never die because the Celeron and the Pentium 4 are the
same CPU. The best analogy is they are both V-8 engines, the difference
is that the Pentium has a faster fuel pump for higher speed. The
purchase of a computer with a Celeron chip today is not a “low-end”
choice as in year’s prior even though the price is kept low
because AMD keeps competing with Intel. Read why if you’re
not the consummate gamer or media processor you will never know
the difference between a Celeron and a Pentium.
